Cleaning Procedure

Arrival and Parking:

Arrive at the designated house on time.
Park on the street, ensuring that you are at least three parking spaces away from the driveway.
Never park in the driveway to avoid inconveniencing the customers and their family members.

Entry and Supplies:

Upon entering the house, place your bag of supplies, mop, and vacuum cleaner inside by the front door.
Open a designated bag for used towels and equipment to keep them separate from the clean supplies.

Preparing the Surfaces:

Take our Focus Clean cleaning spray and go around the house, spraying down the dirtiest surfaces first. This includes the stove top, microwave, smudges on walls, entire toilet, shower glass, tub, shower walls, and other heavily soiled areas.
Allow the cleaning solution to soak and work its magic while you proceed with the next steps.

Kitchen Cleaning:

Start cleaning in the kitchen first to avoid cross-contamination from other areas of the house.
Clean all kitchen surfaces, including counter-tops, sinks, appliances, and cabinets.
Wipe down visible baseboards and clean door and wall smudges.
Polish dirty light switches and fixtures.
Tidy up, remove trash, reline the trash can
Leave the kitchen floors for the final inspection and the end.

Room Cleaning:

Always begin cleaning each room in the top left-hand corner.
Clean the room in a clockwise direction, picking up and wiping under objects as you go around.
Ensure thorough cleaning of all surfaces, including furniture, windowsills, and other visible areas.
Pay attention to wiping visible baseboards and removing door and wall smudges.
Polish dirty light switches and fixtures.
Tidy up, remove trash, reline the trash can
Leave the room floors for the final inspection and the end.

Bathroom Cleaning:

Clean the bathrooms last to prevent cross-contamination with other parts of the home.
Bag up the used towels and equipment before leaving the bathrooms.
Clean all bathroom surfaces, including sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs.
Wipe down shower glass, shower walls, and other applicable areas.
Pay attention to wiping visible baseboards and removing door and wall smudges.
Polish dirty light switches and fixtures.
Tidy up, remove trash, reline the trash can
Leave the bathroom floors for the final inspection and the end.

Final Inspection & Floors:

The Manager in charge will conduct the final inspection.
The Manager will confirm that each room has been cleaned correctly according to the QC Focus Clean standards.
The Manager will also stage and organize each room to resemble a hotel setting as closely as possible.
Once the room is finalized, the Manager will clean the floors and shut off the lights on their way out.

Leaving:

After the final inspection is complete & the floors are complete.
Avoid walking on the freshly cleaned floors.
If you accidentally step on the cleaned floors, they must be redone to maintain cleanliness standards.
Clean the floors as you leave and lock the door.
Text office the job has been completed.
